... realised that the snow must indeed be exceptional and that the trains must be disrupted. They were. No trains were going anywhere. We waited for a while to see if the trains would start moving but by 10:00 we were told the situation would be reviewed at 12:00 noon so we all headed across the road from the station to a Starbucks as the cafe at the station was full of other waiting passengers.
