Because the day was so nice, we chose an alternate route out of the park in order to visit the little onsen (hot springs) town, We hiked back down the mountain, through the park forest, along the river. The day was absolutely perfect and one of the best days skiing I've done with perfect skiing conditions. We met with Adam and warmed up on the green runs and the bottom before headed up the mountain. We did a few green runs before finally getting to the top. There was ...

Breakfast was a fine affair and Thomas was in heaven when we realized that the hotel had one bottle of HP sauce! We got down to Hakuba and left the kids with the ski school. Thomas was hilarious, saying he had done it before and could go up to the top of the mountain! Isabel was quieter but confident.

We then headed up the mountains and enjoyed some great skiing…Sinead was calm and cool ...
