    ... come along and rip it to shreds. Unfortunately, his board was nowhere to be seen and although he avoided destroying a $2000 kite neither Nick or I could find his board. Oh well, this is pretty common when learning to ride in the waves and I assured him that we all lose boards every now and then. It's just part of the experience. Many thanks to Nick Katz for the wonderful hospitality! That was a jolly good show ...

    April, 30th was our first day of this trip. At first, our plan was going to Yamanashi to see "Pink moss"or "Shiba Zakura, but we finally changed our plan to "Hamamatsu Flower Park" (浜松フラӤ 7;ーパーク) and we had to go by bus.

    We started in front of Shizuoka Station (静岡駅前).
