... being cropped. The area is a real food bowl. First stop was the Snow Monkey Park (minus the snow). The private tour for 4 continues. Quite cool, brilliant sunny day. A lovely walk through the forest for about 40 minutes before the hot springs pools where they tend to congregate. ... but no show. A nice young Japanese guy asked us if we were okay, so Rod phoned the hotel and he spoke with them. Turns out it was a miscommunication and our pick up was 11:55 and not as soon as our train arrived. The young people are great at helping as they want to practice their English. Walked to Matsumoto castle, an amazing old wooden castle, shoes off, and walked up the 6 levels. Some stairs were very steep, almost vertical. Beautiful manicured gardens.
