The trail travels through small valleys and past forests of bamboo and Japanese cedar, through some of the least-developed scenery on the tour. Continue by train to Kiso-Fukushima. 8 km walk from walk Magemo to Tsumago.

The guide book and the tourist information centre told me that it would take 3hours to walk it.
However I only had 2, as I got up way to late to actually do this walk. What can I say i did it in 1 1/2 hours :)

Rock'n Roll!!!! found the coolest little coffee shop in Tsumago.

It felt amazing to rest our muscles and get clean after the trek. Checked into Hakone Suimeiso ryokan, a traditional Japanese guesthouse. This is where you are served a kaiseki meal in your room ...

... rooms. Also they have one shared as well as two private onsen, what means hot spring in japanese. Then he wished us a pleasent stay, mentioning that walking on this wooden floor makes a lot of noise, so if we come back late we should walk like ninjas. The moment I entered the air conditioned room I was charmed – a beautiful small room in japanese style with a indoor balcony. On the table were instructions for how to make the japanese style tatami bed and how to ...
