The breakfast buffet was Japanese and Western and offered a large variety of items. It was served in a large hall overlooking the garden. We took the hotel shuttle to the center of Kusatsu and were dropped off at the bus station. After a short walk we arrived at the square where the Yubatake or the hot water field is. Dinner was at a small Jazz bar and the owner made the most amazing food we've had on the trip. Goyza, squid, sashimi yum yum. This morning we took a bus and train to Nagano. With a few hours to kill we walked the main street up to a buddist shrine. On the ...

... put them back in the hot pool they were stinging because of the temperature difference. Later that night the family and I went to the fire festival with a Japanese school group which was great because it got us almost to the front. It was great Talia and I got to meet up with the rest of their school and make new friends. I met this guy called Andy who was born in Peru and he was living in Japan and he spoke great English and Japanese so he was like ...
