... The parade is accompanied by musicians in traditional Japanese costumes, quite an interesting and colorful event. The elephant made of paper is very large and being pulled by the boys with help of adults. We watch them parade around the Yubatake and go up the old, stone staircase to the Temple. The temple and shrines were beautiful but it was pretty cold walking around. Another train for about 40 minutes and we arrived at Shiga Kogen where we are staying at a beautiful ryokan with our own private onsen bath outside in the snow. Time for some rest and ...

Day 3 Today in Nozowa we woke up and got ready to leave for a beautiful day of snowboarding, but around about lunch the weather changed and it started to snow heavier. We were planning to go and do a few more runs but then I had a massive stack and it hurt, I landed right on my coccyx bone and I was struggling to even sit down. So Talia and I went on back to the hotel and Mum and Dad did one more run. When everyone was at home we all went to an outdoor ...
