Somewhere Over the Ocean

... have a stupid 2.5 hour layover followed by another tedious 2.5 hour flight. I know I’m being impatient. I know I should just be thankful that I’m finally on my way to Japan in the first place, but right now I’m a grump and I’m tired of traveling. Perhaps I should just bite the  bullet and buy this stupid expensive wifi pass. Maybe I should take another Unisom and try to pass out for the next four hours. Oooh, I know! Lauren and I even prayed at a Shinto shrine to try and stop it... no luck. A long soak in the Onsen after the walk was the perfect reward though. The day after, we returned back to Tokyo and headed to the Pokemon centre, where everyone acted maturely and in no way let their inner child take over...At ...

Memoirs of a fake white Geisha

First off Japan is stupidly clean and secondly I dont think I can go back to a world where my toilet seats aren't heated. Well anyway update time. On the 6th we made our way to Hiroshima. We visited the peace park and atomic bomb musem; it was a hard hitting but worth while experience. We were cheered up by dinner which was okonomiyaki (a Japanese pancake) and was cooked inches from our faces. The next day we traveled to miyajima island, which has hundreds of ...
