What is Prague like.

A travel blog entry by jayton on Sep 04, 2014

Prague is an old city and the area we are in is in the old part of the city. It is a maze of narrow cobble stone lanes. The buildings are mainly 3 storey apartment blocks, each with its own central courtyard. It is a bit run down but there are signs of restoration with some of the buildings showing the original exterior decorated walls.

I hope all of you people back in Wisconsin are surviving the cold, more power to you!

It has housed many kings and religious leaders over the centuries, seen many battles, been the centre of various ruling regimes and like most had the odd fire or two! Apparently it is also the largest and oldest on the planet. The bus was a great idea, it had good ...

... Although Prague is known for hosting some amazing underground parties that I have no doubts we would have loved, I don’t regret how we spent our time. It was the perfect chance to chill out, and we left feeling refreshed and ready to take on Budapest.

I do, however, look forward to returning to the city someday with a new perspective. And more time. But I’m starting to realise there’s never really enough time to see it all. ...
