... the car. The amazing thing was that, on a sloppy rainy day, the inside of the train was immaculate even at the end of the day!
THE CRISIS OF MODERN ART, A RIVER WALK, LIBERTY, AND RUSH HOUR
I avoided Tokyo's morning rush hour by staying in my hotel until at least 10 a.m. every day. The evening rush hour was surprisingly late. One day I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art, only to discover a couple of small signs saying that it ...
... something like crepes and filled with lettuce, noodles, meat and vegetables, then topped with a coule of sauces and garnishes. Both were very good. We saw the "samples" in the window and know what the items would look like (both large looking) and were wondering how we would be able to eat them with chopsticks. Our questions were answered when the dishes were served with what looked like small metal spatulas, which could not only cut our food, but we could ...

Tokyo, Japan -sebastien-... s into it we looked at the map again and were a little mad at ourselves however we still had a good time. For a snack we stopped at a beer garden, which is marked by red lanterns, had a few cokes and some chicken on a stick, and were just about to ask for the check when this crazy guy showed up and showed me this book, it looked like a Japanese book based on American TV shows... he flipped to a page with the King of The Hill picture and ...
Tokyo, Japan burrowbk... very innocent in a strange way. Pepe paid to play a game a bit like buckaroo. So here you have a place where nerds can come to pay to talk to girls and play games with them. Japan is a very strange country in a lot of ways and this is just one of the manifestations of it. For all there hi tech living in a lot of ways it seems like a very lonely place for a lot of people that live there. No one talks to strangers or even acknowledges then and if they do it`s ...
Tokyo, Japan polomuiriu... may not be able to pronounce the words, but there is something comforting in just being able to read it. Even in Moscow, with its cyrillic alphabet, one can fairly easily transliterate it to roman characters and read the text. But this is impossible in Japan. While some signs have English characters, many do not. This difficulty really hit me while trying to figure out the weather. For some reason CNN didn't seem to want to put Tokyo on their list when giving weather for ...
Tokyo, Japan waltmeier... good fun (Thanks again Arisa). That night was a quiet one, Chris was playing in a rugby match the next day so a Movie was rented... enough said about that!! It was a drizzly damp day, typical rugby weather when we arrived at the pitch but luckily the rain held off during the game. That night we partied late as it was our last night. We started by meeting up with some of Chris's friends at a place called the Tavern to watch a Japanese Beatles ...
Tokyo, Japan trish_and_kevin... is really good for the lower market product it's meant to be. Our room has all the facilities, including complementary slippers and PJs, as well as a fridge and rice cooker. We grabbed a small dinner at the convenience store across the road before hitting the pillow around 7pm, we were just so tired. To begin our first proper day in Japan we ventured to the Asakusa park, just a short walk from our lodging. To get there we walked down the ancient market street, lined with many ...
