After breakfast, Visit to Matsumoto Castle, is unique for having both a secondary donjon and a turret adjoined to its main keep. The castle structures, in combination with their characteristic black wainscoting, give off an air of grandeur and poise. This all went to plan thanks to the helpful people in the information ...

We came out at near the red bridge to see the first train go over the bridge. After that, we walked on a bush track and on to an ...

... hard). The highlight was a cable car ride up a mountain to a place where the view was fantastic and there was a hot, hotspring that we could soak our feet in until they turned bright red!

They left us at the home of missionaries who took care of us till we got back on the bullet train and headed for Nagano to visit more missionaries, where we have seen some of their work and lives and enjoyed another visit to another onsen (hot springs bath).
