Paddling to Prague

A travel blog entry by sverregunnersen

... was another 2 hours of rafting away, Jess had no water with her, I wasn't feeling the best, and the forecast was still for storms that afternoon. Rafting for the next two hours was picturesque, with the water running quickly over the shallow bits (where we'd sometimes run aground) and more slowly in the deep areas, with green trees drooping into the water on both sides, but by now we were both pretty tired. There was an occasional place to stop for drinks, but we hadn't even ...

... After the tour we walked down by the river to watch some of the rafts and boats come through the rapids and then took a look at some of the galleries in town.

... they kept saying was “niet” which we assumed meant no parking, which was stupid.there was no sign. it didnt matter that they didnt understand us, we still proclaimed innocence, pointing to our paid parking reciept, eventually, they unclamped the volvo and we are able to drive off. I guess it was easier to do that than listen to us whinging. success!
we never made it to the beer factory here after all that, and drove on to Cesky Krumlov down the road.
