Checked out of our lovely apartment today, sad to be leaving Prague but excited to see our next surprise.

Saturday morning I wake up early and start calling the hotels recommended by Rick Steve's to see if they have availability. 8 hotels in, one does. I pack my bags, check out, and hit the road. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a medieval walled city. It's probably about a square mile or so and packed with shops, restaurants, and hotels that look like gingerbread houses. Christmas is huge in this area of Germany so there are a lot of Xmas decoration shops. It kinda looks like Bronners exploded all over the place.
