... in the lonely planet guide, but they were really fun. We did two, one with the four of us then with the six. I think the novelty had worn off by the time we did the six but we did manage to meet some Italian guys who we got to take a photo for us. The food and drink here is super cheap, more reasons why you should come. You can have a three course meal for five pounds at lunch and the beer is only £1. WEATHER: Overcast.

Our hotel is 150metres from the castle so today, we decided to visit the whole complex in case it rained again. We bought a multi venue ticket and started our own tour. Started with a bit of art - the Picture Gallery. The collection occupied 6 rooms and included old masters which had been collected from around the castle complex and displayed in one area.

Driving along the river we had our first view of Prague castle on the hill. Oh my, it’s a very impressive sight indeed and according to Mr Guiness, it's the largest castle complex in the world. Up at the castle we watched the changing of the guards then lost our tour guide after she took off without us. Ran around in a mild panic for a few minutes until we called the tour company confirmed that yep, she had left us behind but lucky for us (or for her -.- ) ...
