Having made it through yesterday's hangover, we made it out of bed and had a small breakfast before meeting the Wenham family to say farewell this morning. Left Jihlava at about 10 and had the slowest drive ever over to Germany! Very small rural roads through czech villages, loads of slow trucks and some very frustrating road blocks meant it took 2 …

Zwiesel camping ground was a nice surprise; long concrete block pitches beside stream boarded with trees, easy access and plenty of room for the bus. Ideal except internet only accessible in large tent or on restaurant balcony.

We leave my Uncle's house and Richard drives our van to a Glass works place where they sell many different types of glass items. After this we head to dinner even though we ate lunch only about 5 hours ago. Richard takes us to a place call Cafe Restaurant Seeblick. It has a picturesque view overlooking a dam and lake. TravelPod Member ReviewsPension Elan Bayerisch Eisenstein
This is the second time we've stayed in Bayerische Eisenstein, the first at Sporthotel Brennes. Wow! Chalk and cheese. Sporthotel was very basic, and we were the only guests off season so the hotel was undergoing a deep clean so no sauna, pool, solarium or restaurant. Pension Élan is much closer to town and is more comfortable. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and speak good English, our room is comfortable and the two saunas working and nice. Drinks availavable, parking, tv, robe - generally fab. Would definitely stay again
