Sugarland suites, Ormoc City 21/01/11 - 31/01/11
After looking for choice number one in Ormoc city we found choice number three on the list of place, Sugarland suites. I parked the bike outside and ventured in, dirty faced and a little tired. The two young ladies on the desk had greeted me before i had even got to the top of the stairs, ' …
... me for a full day. About 10 of them ran to the motorcycle screaming my name and hugged my legs so hard I could hardly walk to set my bags down.
I did some first aid as usual in the afternoon. But other wise spent my time talking to the kids and observing the construction. When the children become to overwhelming for me I escape upstairs to see the construction progress.

The lessons learned repeatedly about sharing, taking care of one another, and listening to Mom and Dad. I see these as all very normal things one experiences in a big family, and I would never appear shocked if I saw any one of these happen among siblings or in any household with children.

Its the staff that make or break a place. As i climbed the stairs before i have reached the top, they were already greeting me. Whilst the discount rate was only available 7pm to 7am the room i got was perfectly adequate. Double bed, cable tv ac, the cr was a wet room and the shower cold and almost a single pipe form the wall, but I am a believer in a hotel room should only be a place to sleep shower and gather your thoughts after a day exploring.......I really liked this hotel, the restaurant whilst a little expensive, served great food. Certainly recommended despite the mouse and giant cockroach that shared the room with us.
