After dinner we went to Ira an Fran's bungalow and watched the video Fran took of the 2 octopi in Rarotonga. It was fantastic!
Tomorrow we will leave the island around 4:20pm. Our flight to Papeete is at 7pm, then we'll take the red-eye to LA. Time to go home. Both Bob and I miss home and miss our doggies!
... you can walk out a long way without getting out of your depth. In the distance the turquoise of the water meets the blue of the sky, a beautiful colour mix. After leaving Bora Bora, we landed on the main island of Nuka Hiva, Marquesas. When the plane parked we saw out our window the ARTA heli sitting there! We then knew the boat had made it and Tony was there to greet us. After we were adorned with our beautiful fresh leis, he told us he would be transferring us to the boat by heli!
