Half a day touring around the Island, followed by more indolence. The day began early - the tour started at 7:45am. The guide's name was Dave, a burly American who arrived from Hawaii 25 years ago. We picked up an assortment of others, including a German couple, a Taiwanese couple who once lived in Basingstoke and two from the cruise ship I'd seen from Easter Island.
