          ... they are used to people and just walk right near you. A treat was seeing 2 of the young ones swimming and playing in the pool, just like little kids. They swim under water and squabble just like human kids. They spend a lot of time grooming each other. We could have stayed all day as they were so entertaining.           I rode from my friend's place in Shinagawa to the Tokyo train station this morning to very little traffic as it was a holiday Monday here. I was on the road by 7:30 AM before there were too many cars on the road and it was a bit of rush to be riding down these huge, empty streets in central Tokyo.           Woke early and caught a taxi to Ueno station. JR Shinkansen to Nagano, then electric train on the Nagano dentetsuline to Yudanaka. Walked up to our accomodation - Shimaya.
