... and sat having a few drinks and catching up. Walked back to city centre and had a krakenkaiser from a wiener stand. Yum! Then Jen and I walked back to our hostel where they told us about free opera outside the Vienna State Opera. So we went and caught the last 40 mins Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi on outside screening telecast. It was really good! But in German. After it ended we found out you can get English subtitles. lol. Woke up at 5 Packed and left Maverick Hostel Caught the train to the bus terminal which was easy but then spent the next 30 minutes looking for the bus terminal!! Finally found it and got the bus 7am-10:15 with one quick pit stop. Worked out money on the bus Luckily arrived at bus depot 11 minutes walk from our hostel ! ... kept looking, both kind of irritable. Caught the train a few stops and then walked along Vacin Utca where we stopped at a Hungarian restaurant. Up early. Onto water taxi for 25 mins trip to catch up with our coach. Beautiful view across to the alps which showed snow capped mountains. Prior to this while having breakfast a huge cruise ship passed our windows, very close to the shore. Quite amazing sight. Good trip out of Venice up into the alps. Lovely countryside, very green, arable, not many animals evident, but a lot of seeming pasture land. Stopped at last Italian place for morning tea, ...
