That's right, hot pepper! We didn't try hot pepper but we got blueberry which was pretty delicious. Why ...

Adjusting my expectations... I had thought I'd zip through the castle and get to Kyoto early. Probably not. Everything takes longer than you think.

These monkeys are macaques which come down the valley and are partial to bathing in the natural onsen (hot springs). We got a bus ...
Yudunaka, Chubu, Japan markandchar... The Japanese students asked us questions, and we asked the Japanese students questions. They were all anonymous, which was nice. The questions ranged from what is your favorite foods to do you think we speak english well, to "would you ever date a Japanese person?" It was great to see how curious our new friends had become and it was amazing to realize how much we don't really know about each others cultures. Although the Japanese are ...

They didn't fully agree that kids were ridiculously crazy in the classroom, although there were plenty of incidences of it happening. After an amazing dinner, we once again broke out the alcohol ...

Of course all the instruction are in Japanese too! They didn't seem to be very outcome orientated, but the fabulous Mika (the receptionist from ...
