... so no pics will do it justice (I took video though). So instead of a snow pic, I have attached a special photo I took today at the zoo.

Then after that excitement I got the funicular up to the fortress and my battery died after 3 photos so they are not very good but it was worth it to get a video of the Pumas.

Now am hoping for some sun tomorrow which is my last day in Salzburg. I wanna see those magnificent mountains.

... of Christmas, but is used in some parts of Salzburg through the year. 20 & 14 represent the year, while the C,M,B are both the initials of the 3 wise men, and the shortening of the Latin phrase 'Christus Mansionem Benedicat, meaning 'May Christ Bless This Home'. The '+' signs are meant as crosses to represent the protection of Christ. A nice tradition, whether one believes in the religious factor or not.

... Ok, that's not true.

Although no snow, I'm almost as excited about the prospect of seeing some sun tomorrow, as I have not seen one bit of sun since I left Sydney. The last tiny patch of blue sky I saw poking through clouds was in London, but haven't seen the orb since I left home. I'm doing the touristy places tomorrow so hopefully I will have some amazing views ahead of me.

... place, it was on to the village of <Kufstein and then an impromptu stop in Kossanluch for lunch, afer a parking ticket forced a wait to pay same at the bank. The places are on the lake Walchsee and worth a quick view but are sllepy villages until july or snow season.
