    ... the back of the cockpit! After three dives to see what the issue was he informed us that the anchor was wedged between two rocks. After directing us into position he dived on the anchor, gave a couple of heavy "yanks" on the line we had dropped and out came the anchor. We were free. Maureen slipped him $50 and two six packs (got his mobile number as well I think) and everyone was happy.

    Rangiroa was one of the first Islands that we visited where we needed to get the tenders to the shore as there was no pier big enough for the ship. This was a bit of a new experience as hundreds of guests all gathered in the theatre and began queuing for magic coloured tickets to get a seat in one of the life boats to get ashore. (Especially Levi the dog) DIVING We start our diving on the north end of the island of Fakarava the second largest atoll in the Tuamotus.
