Other points that I will have to write in the next blog include:
- all you can drink bar (2 hours) with New Zealand man and some of his friends......lol.......
- sparklers outside with Yuki and Haruto
- hearing the son speak for the first time!!

- my Tea Ceremony is tomorrow.....pretty excited about that
- only 8 days left of my journey! I can not believe it is coming to an end!!!!

... off but can’t find it. :/ We had a feast at lunch highlights were asparagus and carrots wrapped in pork! And these pickles that were made with alcohol. The alcohol that is used is from the leftovers after making sake( bottom on barrel). It was delish. One of the ladies said well it’s made with alcohol and I said its ok I’m 28. We all had a chuckle out of it. Legal drinking age is 20 here.

... off at the wrong stop. Thankfully, the bus pulled up next to me and signaled me to get back on the bus and 'matte' (wait). When I got off the bus for the second time, I had a better sense of where I was. I walked a few blocks back to my homestay where I met my host mother waving to me in the street in her house pajamas. She was so relieved to see I had made it back.

Welp, I am EXHAUSTED. Happy 4th to all ..be sure to post lots of pictures so I can enjoy the show!!!! XO

Happy 4th of July Everyone!

Today we went to Susobana ES. It was a large school of about 700 students. We were told schools aren't allowed to be much bigger than that. We presented to 3 different groups about our school. The first two groups had about 50 kids in the room. The last group had 100. That group of 100 got a bit over whelming to us, especially after ...

Today we went to Naganuma ES. This school was out in the country. They had their own orchard of cherry, plum, and apple trees. They grew their own sweet potatoes, corn, rice fields, and other veggies. The students plant and take care of their "mini" farm. This school also gets a lot the help and volunteers from the community. Very small school 100 students and 8 teachers. We ...
