We left Budapest and headed for our next stop on the Side of Lake Balaton, we spent 3 nights in this area albeit on 3 different sites;
Site 1 - Bungalow and Camping Ifjusag - looked lovely and lively on the website, out of 500+ pitches we were the only ones there, the local attractions were all closed, a bit like a tacky sea side town - the site wasn't bad but we would be wasting our time staying any longer than a night so moved on ...

Our long and intensive days consist of lectures, workshops, social events, team building sessions and group work. The program is tight and there is no so much free time. But we all enjoy here and looking forward to sunny and historical Budapest!

Whilst the fabric of the hostel isn't the best, the service and general bonhomie from the people running it makes it a special place indeed.

Balatonfured the capital of the lake towns and we arrived on a long weekend and spoilt for choice on where to go. Traffic was crazy as locals headed out of Budapest.
