... It is well known for its sand sculpture festival, running from May to October each year. The theme for the sculptures this year was Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. As well as the impressive sand sculptures, there were timber and metal sculptures. Inside, they had a rock'n'roll museum, heavily focussed on Elvis. They had many items on display. Again it spotted with rain overnight, disturbing our sleep as we (Julie) rushed to close hatches but again, this morning, it was a lovely day and indeed, it stayed that way all day. In fact, it was a classic summer's day, warm, sunny and with a gentle wind. Perfect.
