A little alone time
... to see what you are sketching. It's like an automatic attraction. When we were at the Blue Mosque in Turkey I bet in an hour and a half we had 100 people come up to us and take pictures of us and of our sketches. We always wonder why they want a photo of us sketching, but apparently it's just a rare sight anymore and people, especially Asians and the Turkish people, love it! So today was our first travel day. Each week we have one day of travel. In town is a woman named Judita. She is ...
What an Experience!
... Planning! Class here only meets once a week BUT class is 2.5 hours long instead of 50 minutes. Which is going to take me a little while to get used to! Tonight we went to our Welcome Dinner Provided by the school. It was what I would call a scramble. They had food set up in every room, and would bring out different dishes, but the food would be gone so fast and wasn't very tasty. We still enjoyed ourselves. The building it was held in was magnificent!
