... mit Schnee drauf. Ich ärgerte mich nur, dass ich keine Kamera dabei haben konnte ;)
Nach einer astreinen Landung im Stehen, war ich überglücklich und bezahlte fast gern ein halbes Vermögen, um jedes erdenkliche Beweismaterial mitnehmen zu können, das es gab.
Zurück im Hostel wurde ich gespannt empfangen und wir gingen erstmal einkaufen, um uns ein leckeres Dinner zu kochen, was ich mir verdient hatte (fand ich zumindest ;).

Today I teamed up with Jessica as we'd both decided to tackle the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and thought we might need a bit of moral support on the 7 hour 18km trek!

... is still on and so we can’t do the Alpine Crossing day hike we had planned for the next day, instead we settle for a 17k hike around the lower areas and Tamas Lakes.
