We had some absolutely incredible steamed buns, made with Tajima beef and some equally incredible rice crackers flavoured with soy sauce that we bought from a little bakery near our ryokan.         ... to try and cover your modesty then walk in in the nude. The place is quite steamy. You clean yourself by throwing some water over yourself. Then hop in. It's absolutely boiling hot!! I loved every minute of it. Would have been good to have someone to talk too. I was the only westerner in I think it was Chinese and Japanese tourists mainly.
