We checked in at the hotel which is a traditional Japanese hotel with mats and no shoes in the room. It has it's own hot spring in the basement. We went for a nice soak. The hot spring pools are segregated and no clothes are allowed.

We did see Mount Fuji briefly from the train this morning but unfortunately it was too cloudy this afternoon to see it.
