      ... now it was dark so we wrapped up very warmly and joined the rest of the people in the town in viewing the castle & blossoms by floodlight. Being Saturday evening it was extremely busy but everyone is very polite and considerate so there is no pushing and shoving which makes it very pleasant.       ... the lead from the locals. It was pretty cold so we decided to come back tomorrow when a fine evening is forecast. We watched our bed mats being expertly laid on the dot of 7pm.       Sunday – April 5th

      Easter Sunday was our day of rest. It was nice to have breakfast at the Lodge and not need to put on our ski gear and hit the mountain. We hung out at the Lodge for a couple of hours and then explored the town a little more. We walked up to the "top of town" where the cooking onsen is.
