    Dmitri, Tsuneto and Akiko all ordered the Kansai-style which meant that they were presented with a bowl full of raw ingredients to cook themselves on a flat grill in the middle of the table.

    We wanted something a little more filling and so chose to have the version with noodles as well although this is a little more space consuming and so they cook it for you.

    ... socks and rushed onto it, to the glee of the children already jumping around. It was so much fun bouncing everywhere and much needed! We then carried on with our kiddie adventure by going on the playground, the slide and the rickety bridge. Time was slipping away and so we had to stop playing and get back to some serious cycling. We got to the last bridge which holds the title of the longest suspension bridge in the world at 4km. It really was something to behold! ...

    ... is a huge area of parkland. Once you get up to the top of the mountain, it is clear that this castle was built with defence a major factor in design. There are many gates and turrets. Thereused to be an 80ft long fence between one gate and turret, with points for dropping stones on the enemy and 16 gun turrets incorporated into the fence.     WE DID: - visited Matsuyama-jo (castle), using the chairlift (no safety bar!) to get up and down the hill. - took the tram to Dogo Onsen where we booked in to Dogo Onsen Honkan baths with a private lounging room, yukata hire and imperial bath etc - walked through Dogo-koen (park). - walked to and around Ishite-ji (temple) - played in the arcade in Okaido. - went for a drink in bar Grace ...
