... 8211; not like anything we’ve tasted back home. Of course you can get any type of cuisine here you want – Italian, French, Indian and lots of Starbucks – it was a bit strange the other night when we went for Indian food and the Indian waiter could only speak Japanese!

We had a great 5 days in Matsuyama – we saw and did many things including walking to one of the temple on the pilgrimage hike. The weather continues to be awesome – 24-26 degrees each ...

Good food :) In the meantime, our room with table had been switched into a room with futon beds: good ...

... as well as our aching muscles complaining about it! It was now time to get to Imabari, a city on our new main island of Shikoku where we could drop the bikes off. On the way down we passed where we tied the dog up and he was gone. Hope he wasn't dognapped! We were exhausted and hungry so imagine our joy when we passed one of the cheap sushi train places. We quickly turned back and had a well earned and delicious load of sushi. Then we carried on and found the bike drop ...
