      This morning, once again, we woke up to a white snowy wonderland. We had a delicious Japanese breakfast of salmon, rice, miso soup, and a tofu, which filled prepped us for the day of snowboarding ahead. After breakfast, we got on the bus and headed to the slopes.       ... bought a fleece bandana and ski gloves as mine could not withstand the cold weather. Once again, I took a hot shower before going for a yummy dinner once again cooked by the owners. We started with a clam chowder soup, a potato croquette w/ pumpkins, roasted chicken w/ potatoes & rice, and finally a Christmas log cake for dessert.       ... short practice runs walking up the end of a beginner course. Near to the end of our time when I began to gain more confidence on my snowboard. I managed to sneak in 2 full runs of the 'edelweiss', which was a gentle beginner course that was slightly long.
