... hard to explore the temple area, so after watching some of the ceremonies we leave and will come back tomorrow.
The rain holds out for the procession, but it starts to drizzle as we leave the temple. Cant complain as we have been really lucky with the weather.

Overnight we had 35 cm of snow so the view was white white and white. We woke to the sound of snow machines clearing things up a bit. After brekky we checked out, getting a lovely set of chopsticks as a Thankyou for staying and got dropped at the train for our 4-5 hrs or so of travel to get to Kyoto.
