Hello all! Yes, today is my last day in Japan. Can you believe it has been a month and a half already?!?! I feel like I've been here for ages! Anyway I haven't done anything much today. I woke up early to start my last bit of laundry so that I could pack everything at once. Of course I had to figure out how to arrange my souvenirs and gifts so they can survive the long journey in my suitcase haha. Later I am going to eat REAL Ramen, not the instant Ramen ...

Unwittingly, we picked set meals that included unlimited bread fresh from the oven, which was a nice surprise. And when we say fresh, they were on our plates within a minute of coming out of the oven. It's a clever trick really, as it slows you down while you wait for the bread to cool. Chris probably would ...

... and since it was a holiday many kids were in there enjoying their day off. I had fun exploring a bit so I took my time and took advantage of the sunshine and comfortable temperature. Didn't go anywhere particular, just had fun roaming! Disclaimer: Many of the sights at the castle were not in English so much of what I took pictures of just looked interesting; I couldn't tell you much about them haha. ...
