      Happy birthday from Japan
I had no idea what would happen to me to day. As normal we woke up early to a free breakfast then checked out. We took the shinkansen to Nagoya where it started snowing. Then it started really snowing. Snow everywhere. From Nagoya we took a express to Matsumoto. The next 2.5 hours was countryside, mountains, rivers and snow. As we climbed higher and higher the snow did as well. I got many amazing shots.

Luke took kids out today and I stayed at the hospital all day. Kids went to the castle in Matsumoto and pottered around. I will get those photos tomorrow. Mason is improving daily. He had his second round of physio today and was up on his crutches. Fingers crossed he keeps improving. ...

He has endured everything thrown at him from wash downs to suppositories and nothing has phased him. Very ...

Time, it is one of the most important commodities on earth, it doesn't discriminate between rich and poor and how it’s spent determines its value. It can be measured in a variety of ways and that is what my morning was all about. We decided before going anywhere today we would check out the time piece museum in Matsumoto. We ran out of time yesterday so we got up and walked to it first thing in the morning.

      We arrived at ...

Matsumoto-jō is Japan's oldest wooden castle. I had great fun exploring the inside, climbing the crazy steep staircases, deciding which room I would choose if I lived there and thinking how freezing it would have been in the winter!! Great views and token pictures with ninjas! Love a ...
