... Japanese (sliding paper doors and silk edged tatami mats) influences. The painted cedar doors were especially beautiful in my opinion. One thing that really surprised us was the billiards room! ... and it was a short walk to the capsule hotel. I couldn't find it at first because it was on the 2nd floor of a building. Once found the checkin was fast and easy and i made my way to my capsule to unpack my stuff and get a well deserved shower. Since the shower was in the public bathroom and it's considered very rude to splash water you have to sit down to take a shower there. Awkward but still very nice to have a decent shower after 2 days of hiking.

We were a bit later out then usual, but otherwise followed our routine of stopping at Andersen's for breakfast (how quickly the unusual becomes normal), Starbucks for a coffee and then walking to the park to eat.
