    ... to see the different hot springs. These springs are too hot to use for therapeutic reasons so are just for display. Once we establish ( and there is much debate up and down the bus) about which stop to get off at we pay the driver ( because you pay when you get off) and head up the hill. We pay our money ¥400 each to enter the first of the 'hells' Kamado Jigoku which means Cooking Pot as the mud forms upside down kettles.The springs range from bubbling hot pools ...

    I should have looked up what going to an onsen entailed. I do have to admit that I'm a bit of a prude and not used to changing in locker rooms. This though, almost pushed me to my limits.     ... is now a museum showcasing how the castle was created as well as the history of Kumamoto. After touring the grounds, I visited Sakura-no-baba, an entertainment area with local food and a small interactive museum on the history of the Castle as well as the Seinan Rebellion.

    Now that my sightseeing was over I decide to look up the cafe near the castle that provided free Wi-fi to patrons. After walking around 10 minutes I stumbled into a little boys ...

    ... rice. Lainie had some rice balls and she gave them to me. She was full I guess. Then, we went outside and played. Carlene and I played soccer and Carlene shot the ball and nailed a couple kids. I scored some pretty awesome goals.
