    ... of hours, we had lunch at a local restaurant in town, another outstanding bento box with noodles, soup, fish and a number of indecipherable items.

    From lunch we took a short ride to Kegon Falls. We were able to view the falls from several observations spots and got some good group pictures that I will try and add later.

    ... It was another one of those under construction. However, instead of just shutting down like all the others had, you could walk through and see the statues from the temple shrines. They even opened up a catwalk over the top of the construction so you could see what it looked like to result a temple (due to custom, temples under go restoration every so many years). I was treated to an impromptu Japanese lesson as she spoke good English from living overseas, I listened intently as she explained a few sentences but I find it hard to catch the words when it's spoken so fast, fun to try though and you always get a smile from locals when you try to show willing.
