We arrived in Nikko late yesterday afternoon after about 6 transport connections over 8 hours travelling from Miyajima. The trains here run like clockwork and we had no issues whatsoever making all connections. It was nice seeing Tokyo again, albeit from the train station and we have vowed to return.
