This morning, once again, we woke up to a white snowy wonderland. We had a delicious Japanese breakfast of salmon, rice, miso soup, and a tofu, which filled prepped us for the day of snowboarding ahead. After breakfast, we got on the bus and headed to the slopes. We met up with our instructor for the day and headed off to the same beginner slope as yesterday. After a couple of runs on that slope, our instructor brought us onto ...

We started with a clam chowder soup, a potato croquette w/ pumpkins, roasted chicken w/ potatoes & rice, and finally a Christmas log cake for dessert. Overall, a great but exhausting first day and I'm very exciting for the rest of the ...

It was pretty cool. We arrived fairly late after grabbing some lunch at Cafe Byron Bay, which was an adorable Australian themed cafe in the heart of Asakusa, and we eventually got to Nikko in the late afternoon, I really enjoyed it, and wish we had more time ...

... where I looked offered a new visual experience and exploration.

Stop #3 was Futarasan Shrine which is located right beside next to Toshogu. We stumbled upon this shrine by accident and weren't really sure what to look at here. We ended up entering the paid fair garden instead of checking out the free temple because we were unaware haha The grounds seemed to be much older then its lavish neighbour Toshogu, but still really majestic. The sun ...
