... course called 'entertainment'. This course was slightly steeper and longer but was completely doable, so we completed it multiple times. I also became so much more confident doing the turns and had a lot more control going at a faster speed. After a delicious lunch of katsudon, I headed back out to that same intermediate course with my sister and father. We did that a couple more times, though I had trouble with fogging of my goggles and ...

... for the slopes. After many runs on the beginners course, I finally managed to get my skills back from 3 years ago to complete going down the course on my heel and my toes, and even managed to be able to turn. ... it's an hour long wait now, imagine nice weather!

One thing you'll notice here in winter: scorching hot heating in stores and trains, feels like you're being cooked alive, then painfully arctic cold outside. The constant temperature changes all the time make you feel loopy and whoozy, I find it makes me feel extra burnt out by the end of the day. Looking forward to visiting in spring or summer next time!!

... where I looked offered a new visual experience and exploration.

Stop #3 was Futarasan Shrine which is located right beside next to Toshogu. We stumbled upon this shrine by accident and weren't really sure what to look at here. We ended up entering the paid fair garden instead of checking out the free temple because we were unaware haha The grounds seemed to be much older then its lavish neighbour Toshogu, but still really majestic. The sun ...
