... time and feel confident that the more time I spend throwing it to the catch, the easier it will become. For now, it feels great to have a bigger role and a bigger trick in the show, and come next city our schedule is going to require it. We are facing a heavy schedule and Harmony and Kyla are going to need to take breaks from their workload of three tricks each. Having my extra trick in the show will allow them that luxury.

On Friday, the weather started getting REALLY really hot. Unbearably hot. We managed a very short walk to a temple and a quick picnic at the park, but then all had to come home and take a nap. ... Last time I was here, Shylo and I bought two knives for the two weddings we were attending that summer but not one for ourselves, so I knew that this time I really wanted a handmade knife. ... when she's feeling less than enthusiastic. In her head she sings the James Brown song "I Feel Good". You know the one...." What ended up happening (I kid you not) is that they refused to add the water, and then spread the pasty chile on the corn tortillas with the back of a spoon. I took comfort in the fact that they had no other enchiladas to "judge" these ones against. And to be fair, pasty chile spread on a corn tortilla actually tastes pretty good!
