    ... rests and I take in the Grandberry outlet scene -- a now fabulous Sunday destination for Japanese families has put Minami Machida on the map (and express route!).

    An Ukai Tei teppanyaki feast is next. We are treated to an amazing meal that exhausted and jetlagged Lily mostly sleeps through (miso soup and rice notwithstanding). The grounds of Ukai Tei offer jaw-droppingly impressive scenes both inside and out and are a truly memorable last evening in Japan.

    ... and then took a walk to Tokyo Dome. Andreas wanted to check out the entrance fees to the amusement park there. With that done, we went for sushi, into the "exciting" book store for a peek (yes, their sign was accually labled "the exciting bookstore") and then, home. Goodnight for now.     ... for a third day (I may have not mentioned him since his introduction - he tagged along with us on all our adventures), we decided it best to commence our journey toward Mt Fuji.     ... Gate. On a sunny day, with people on the street, All the street vendors present, this must be amazing, no Luck for me today. So came across the Kawagoe festival museum (a Chance for me to dry and be out of the rain) was quite small but nice. Now back to Yokohama by train.... Rush hour.... Feels like sardines in a can, they literaly have pushers, to push the people in the train... It's crazy.... Now going to ...

    ... yet they still have February and March to get through. The forecast for the alps today was rain so it turned out to be a perfect day to leave after a bluebird day on our final day. Managed to get some great footage on the Gopro but I'll save that for the home video. The video footage on the blog site is from my iPhone.
