10,000 Fireworks!
... Doraemon and of course the usual ones, but on a much larger scale than we had ever seen. During the middle of the show I had to leave to run to the portable bathrooms. Luckily, as I walked out of the stall, everyone was counting down and the biggest firework of the night exploded in the sky. I couldn’t believe it’s massive size and boom that it made. It made me think of the movie Coneheads when everyone at the football game is blown away by the aftermath of the firework ...
Nachi: Kumano Kodo's End
... a lovely 3.5 hr train trip back to Osaka to spend the night. I use lovely sparingly as the AC in our car was cooling but no dehumidifying. It was so uncomfortable, being cold and damp and sticky that I was a relief to get out into the hot, humid air of Osaka. She got to asking about mine and Ryans tatse in partner and I think was very surprised that Ryan favours Asian women over women from the US and that I don't got by culture or looks but by personality. We talked about the attributes we admire and would like in a partner and both ...
Nachi Waterfall, Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage
The Nachi Waterfall had been on the list of my destinations for a long time and, last month, I happened to find a tour of Hankyu Trapix to Seigantoji Temple, which was close to the waterfall. I hesitated to join the tour, because I was still tired from the last trip to Shikoku, but the tour price was almost impossible to ignore (JPY 4,333, including lunch). Besides, I didn't need to make up an itinerary, because everything ...
