      Hi everyone,

Wow, what a whirl wind couple of weeks! I've survived training, and am busy settling into my new home and schools!

I live a tiny little shoebox apartment, which is extremely cute and I think just the perfect size for me! I live in a district called Hazeshinmachi, which is approximately a 30 minute walk east of the Fukuchiyama train station. It is a rural town, with (MASSIVE!) ...

... large one and a smaller one with metal arm rests and jets. There was also a steam room decorated with tiny blue tiles. Upstairs was a series of saunas and a fantastic outdoor bath with views of the river (and the shell garage!). We could get used to ...

... br> - Home will be Fukuchiyama, Kyoto Prefecture. I know that it is a rural town, sorrounded by mountains and with a population of 80,000 people. It rains for 17 days on average each month but also receives snow in Winter :)! Other than that, the town remains a bit of a mystery as it is not on the tourist map and there is limited information on the ...

... tempura veg and prawns. They were really nice. Then came back a third time with rice and fruit to finish. Perfect. We had some wine and beers with our meal. It was a really surreal experience. We were laughing the whole way through. I pulled Noel under the table by his ankles. It was funny. After dinner we headed out to the public onsens. With the hotel we got dinner, breakfast and onsen passes. We went to Satonoyu bath first as it closed at 9pm. It ...
