... huge big snow flakes falling down, it has eased up a bit now but was lovely, such a novelty coming from the tropics to snow. A big on of us got dropped in for dinner at 6. We ended up at a ramen place for warm soup and a beer. We sat with a young NZ guy here for the skiing. After this he took us to a cute little bar where we had to try the sake cocktails. ... by our host at the train station and taken in his van down the windy snow lined roads to our guesthouse Mont Cervin. Our accommodation is just a few train stops past Nagano in Suzaka so we found the train for this line and headed on up on the snow monkey express train.
