... to ask the friendly lady when the first bus to Numata would come. She also didn't speak a word english but from her gestures i understood that the bus i just stepped out of was the one going to Numata. :-P So i had to wait for 40 minutes to catch the next one.

Inbetween the busy days in Tokyo i had planned 2 days of hiking in a national park. In my preparation i checked a couple but they were either too far away or the hike would just take too long. Until i found a Oze national park, just 3,5 hours from Tokyo and relatively easy to do in two days. The first day you'll walk mainly through marshlands and the second day takes you around the lake in the park.

... bullet back to Tokyo...yep I fell asleep again!!!! and spent the evening exploring the area above Tokyo station. Under the railway bridges they had turned the empty space into little tiny restaurants. v They wernt very touristy friendly with pictures so we deicded to avoid them and go for yet some more sushi yum!!!!!

It had been a long day so we were pretty exhausted after dinner and ready for a sleep before our last day sightseeing.

... We entered a building, a log cabin Japanese home hybrid. We took our shoes off at the entrance, put our slippers on and were given a warm, but unusual drink that tasted salty with a sweet plummy aftertaste. The room was warm and homely, despite the huge windows depicting a snowy scence outside. We picked our kimonos and were led to our room.
