    Day two in Kinoskai started in much the same way as the first had finished - an elaborate meal, served to us in our room. Breakfast consisted of a piece of salmon, a soft boiled egg, some Japanese style fish cakes, some aubergine, tofu, rice and bizarrely two slices of brightly coloured Swiss roll!     ... As with the other Ryokan that we stayed in, our arrival sparked a flurry of activity from the staff as they got us checked in and into slippers with maximum efficiency.     ... you sit down and there is a mirror in front and then get back in to soak. It really was a great experience. I met Noel back outside and we headed to Goshonoyu bath. On route we got a beer out of the vending machine!!! How cool is that. This bath wasn't as good but still a great experience. The water is ridiculously hot. I came out like a red tomato.
