I met Koji, whilst having dinner in a restaurant. We decided to do a road trip to Kamikochi and the sightseeing spots around the highlands.

Had an amazing day,the weather was playing along and travelling in a car for a change felt just like heaven :)

We finished the day off, by soaking in an outdoor hot spring. What more can you want!?! :)

The town has a beautiful old town and many lovely temples (with awesome picture opportunities). I did two day trips, one on top of a mountain with a cable car and another one ...

... br> I should make comment now that the doors of taxi's are released by the driver and automatically open as the driver sees you approach. It is the same for the boot as most times you are expected to put your own luggage in. The very interesting thing though, is that all of the headrests and top half of the seats are covered in white lace fabric. Special!
