... the car, eating of of the car, practically living out of the car. Public toilets are usually not too bad and as we get up early there is no risk of anybody coming in. So you can wash yourself down and get changed as well :-) Boy isn`t traveling on a budget great!

... told us that although they were previously doing a bulk production of sake, they now changed their policy as they commit to produce good quality sake made from good quality ingredients.

As a result, their sake has won the award for the six consective years.

Since I personally do not enjoy sake, I had no interest in tasting. It is, though, definitely great place for sake lovers!

Pear Blossoms!

Kureha district of Toyama city is famous for pears. At the end of April pear trees are in full bloom. Since pear blossoms are in white color, the flowers look very delicate!

I can't wait for those trees to bear juicy pear fruits in the fall!

Snowboarding and Sake

... the night. We had all kinds of sushi and various seafoods for dinner and drank many different sakes and beer. We also joined some other japanese in the spa (totally nude as their custom goes) and relaxed.
Today we snowboarded in the Japanese Alps and it was beautiful out and tons of powder. The powder here is like fluffy dust. Very different from Tahoe.
