Slowly finding time to update my blog. Sunday was a slowish day, had a sleep in before heading to a World Culture Day event were I met Yuri, a nice Japanese girl who wanted to practice English with me and asked to be my friend. We've now sent a couple of emails but without Caitlin to translate, the conversation doesn't go far. Afterwards we went and ordered far too much Chinese but had yummy dumplings so it was all good.

The next day (15 November), we had initially intended a boat trip in
the bay but as it was raining a lot we changed our plans a bit. First we headed
to the almost empty town ...

It was nice waking up in a bed, in a room all to myself. Don't get me wrong Hostels are great, I just feel like I needed my own space. A more normal breakfast this morning, Yogurt, bread, a banana. Yuki and wandered down to the local store and picked up a transit pass for the day. It was a mere 8 dollars, and would let me take any type of public transportation in Nagoya. The first place to visit was the Atsuta-Jingu Shrine. A ...
