... huge big snow flakes falling down, it has eased up a bit now but was lovely, such a novelty coming from the tropics to snow. A big on of us got dropped in for dinner at 6. We ended up at a ramen place for warm soup and a beer. We sat with a young NZ guy here for the skiing. After this he took us to a cute little bar where we had to try the sake cocktails. ... off my feet. The wood was amazing, big thick beams and polished floors. There were the slits in the walls to shoot arrows through as well as some side ramps where they could roll stones down onto anyone trying to climb up the walls.
