... just liked the look of me, but I was singled out and given a loofa to help things along. There were rows of us all sitting on little stools covered in foam - you won't be surprised that there are no piccies of this! Early shinkansen to Nagano. Quite warm. Renovating so wander around construction site to local train to Yudanaka.
Local train "Snow Monkey Express" climbed up steady slope to many snow banked buildings, eventually snow-covered fields.
Yudanaka is grey and unimpressive at the station. We decide to take a taxi to hotel.
Arrive at hotel at about 1:30 so chose to walk up to Snow Monkeys. We were told we could check in before 4, or after 4:30.
