    ... and rain. So far, the rain has held off. However, the train is overheated at probably 30C. Owen has asked for the temperature to be lowered so now it is a more pleasant 26c. We are all still stripped down to T-shirt level.

    ... t get sea sick, lol. This ship is very stable but tonight very bumpy. There is sea spray hitting my balcony and I am on the 5th floor for those that know the ship.     So we decided to visit the lavender fields and town in Furano closed by. There farms that grow lavender - and for once not rice fields or soy beans - and those are attractions to Japanese tourists. There is a local train line going there which came handy

    Unfortunately the weather changed to become overcast and scattered rains. So we step out at Sapporo - the 1972 winter olymic game host city - and explored the botanical garden.
